Fun with Food- Lekach Edition

We made our very own Lekach from scratch!
After we baked it we practiced begging Morah for it, just like we do on Erev Yom Kippur! IYH that will be the last sweet thing we beg Hashem for this year!

Out For a Walk!

Out of Cheder we went on a little walk. We were hunting for schach to put on our Sukkah!
The boys behaved beautifully and made a true Kiddush Hashem

Look how beautiful our line is!

Look how many we collected!

Teamwork + Creativity = Wow!

Travel Through Time

Tishrei became more tangible once we illustrated it through Post its on the floor!
We outlined the first two boxes were Rosh Hashanah. The next was Tzom Gedaliah followed by the intermediary days of Aseres Yemei Teshuvah. Erev Yom Kippur came next and the very last square was Yom Kippur, itself. The boys each had a chance to travel through time.

While walking through Rosh Hashanah they blew Shofar. On Tzom Gedaliah we motioned "No Eating". The middle days we davened (and spun around because it was fun ;)). Erev Yom Kippur was Kaparos followed by finally jumping right into Yom Kippur!

If the shoe fits..we still can't wear it?

We have begun to learn about Erev Yom Kipur and as many of the boys know, we don't wear leather shoes on Yom Kippur. In order to know if we will need to switch our shoes on Erev Yom Kippur, we created a shoe graph. Leather and Not Leather...

In the end we realized that we are just about even!

Our Very First Tzvivos Hashem Worldwide Ralley

The boys were so excited about our very first WWR!!!!
They sat so beautifully for a full 45 min!

Rosh Hashanah Panim

We were zoche, to be able to have the opportunity to send our own Rosh Hashanah Pan to the Ohel this week with Rabbi Raichik.

After discussing what a Pan is and what we write in a Pan, the boys prepared by each giving Tzedakah. We washed negel vasser and we looked a picture of our Rebbe.
Then each boy sat down and each wrote their personal pan to the Rebbe.
It was a pure zchus to watch our yummy boys write panim!

"Finding" out about Erev Yom Kippur

Erev Yom Kippur is a very busy day with a lot of things that need to get done. Morah prepared pictures of all the Erev YK activities but instead of showing it to us, she hid them. It's a good thing she had her phone with her and was able to take pictures of all the places she hid them. Morah just showed us the pictures and we were able to recognize what parts of the classroom they were in!

Here are the pictures Morah showed us

Here we are finding them!
