Asarah B'Teves

Classroom Fun!

Brochos Sorting

Hidden Hashem

The word Ha'Olam in a Broch means world. But it comes from the Shoresh Helem- Hidden. That is because Hashem is hidden in every part of our world and one of the purposes of a Brocha is for us to bring Hashem out of hiding. Morah hid "Hashem" all over our classroom and we made it our job to find "Him"

Fun with Food- Brocha Editon

If a Broch is like a channel/pipe then we need to find something that we could eat with a pipe (straw).
Banana Smoothie it is!

Serach's Harp

Making our own harps just like Serach!

Brochos Intro

Our Brochos Unit began with explaining what a Brocha is.
Brocha is from the word Breicha, a stream or channel. When we make a Brocha, we make a channel from Shamayim down to here. Just like the marble that we let roll down our pool noodle
