Joy in Water

In the Beis Hamikdosh during Sukkas the water was poured instead of wine with the Korbanas. This was a big Simcha (because, as the Rebbe explains, water is a drink for every type of person and therefore is a show of achdus for the Yidden). This is called Simchas Beis Hashueva and it is a simcha that we still celebrate today

In honor of the pouring of the water on the Mizbeach, we too poured water (in our water table)

After a bit we changed into wine ;)

Berry Good

Rebbetzin Chana would go out in to the very cold, dangerous forest in order to collect berries to make ink for Reb Levik. Reb Levik would then use this ink to write very heilike words of Torah in the margins of his Seforim.

In honor of Rebbetzin Chana's Yahrtzeit, Vav Tishrei, we too got the opportunity to make ink out of blueberries. We wrote heilike letters of Aleph Beis with it!

Fun with Food- Lekach Edition

We made our very own Lekach from scratch!
After we baked it we practiced begging Morah for it, just like we do on Erev Yom Kippur! IYH that will be the last sweet thing we beg Hashem for this year!
