Our Very First Ralley

Chai Elul brought our very first Cheder Menachem ralley

The boys sat so nicely!

Rabbi Hecht taught us such a beautiful lesson about Chai Elul

Excellent job Daniel Shimoni and Mendel Abend for saying the Posuk of Bereishis in front of the whole school!

Having Fun in our Classroom

Getting to know each other and our classroom!

A Cheder Yingeleh

On the 2nd day of school, Rabbi Greenbaum and Mrs. Blauner cam into our classroom and explained to us whatit means to be Cheder Menachem Yingeleh. We are so lucky to be in the Rebbe's school.

Mirror Effect

The word Elul stands for the words Ani Le'Dodi Ve'Dodi Li. When reach out to Hashem and show Him how much we love him then Hashem will do the same. Its just like a Mirror, whatever we do Hashem will copy.

We practiced mirroring our friends!

Thank you Rabbi Estulin

Thank you Rabbi Estulin for coming to our classroom on the first day of school and handing out donuts and special tzedakah money! You made a great day even more great!

Thank you Mendel M.

Thank you Mendel Mayberg for bringing in a real Shofar and blowing it for us!

Facial hair!

All it took is just one day at Cheder Menachem and we are already Rabbis!

Missing King

On the Second day of school the Pre 1A was seen running, (in a very organized way) up and down the stairs and in and out of the offices. To the average bystander, it would seem that the Pre 1-A was lost. But this was not the case. The Kinderlach were actually on their way to find the king.
We first inquired at the office
Mrs. Brown made us do 10 jumping jacks and sent us to Coach Yossi. Coach Yossi made us climb up the playground and slide down the slide and then go upstairs to Mrs. Blauners office
Mrs. Blauner asked us to sing the Alpha Bet and then sent us back downstairs to Mrs. Stillman's office
Mrs. Stillman sent us to Rabbi Hecht in the back office. Rabbi Hecht sent us to Sam and finally Sam sent us to Rabbi Heidingsfeld . After Rabbi Heidingsfeld asked us all about Tzivos Hashem he sent us back to our very own classroom
Where we found the KING!

Aside from being a great way to familiarize ourselves with the school building and meeting many of the staff which we will be interacting with throughout the school year, this was our way of learning Melech BaSadeh.
Just like a human king is at times very hard to reach, Hashem is as well. During the month of Elul, Hashem comes to us, in the field. Sure saves us a  lot of hard work (If only we would have known before we started on our search)!!!

Getting Ready!

Sooooo excited for a new year! Can't wait to meet all our Yingelach!

Starting to set up the classroom!
